In 1987, Terence and fellow Concordia University alumni Bernard Deniger and Paul Pare founded one of the best known sketch comedy troupes to ever come out of Montreal. Radio Free Vestibule began as a 15-minute-a-week comedy series on Radio McGill. The troupe, who changed its name to The Vestibules in 1996, have appeared on countless CBC radio shows and have had three different radio series. The Vestibules have also appeared on multiple episodes of Comics!, Sketchom and the Just For Laughs series on CBC-TV, and have made appearances on CTV, the BBC, The Comedy Network, A&E, Comedy Central and The Travel Channel. Additionally, the troupe has made many live appearances across Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. Terence has also been an active member of Montreal’s award-winning improv troupe, On The Spot Improv, since its founding in 1990. The troupe appears regularly at the Comedyworks Club in Montreal. On The Spot has participated in improv tournaments and festivals all over the world (Chicago, London, Amsterdam, Victoria, just to name a few). On The Spot is also a three time champion of the Just For Laughs Improv Tournament. Terence has appeared as referee and as coach of the Montreal team on The Comedy Network's World Improv Tournament series. Terence also has a solo act which consists of a unique combination of stand-up, improv and one-man sketch comedy. He has performed the act both live and on radio. To date, he has made a total of 11 appearances at The Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Notice the clever irony
of including no jokes whatsoever on the comedian page? |
